Woolworths Double Bay Supermarket, in Sydney, Australia has created a prayer room in store, and has installed a WuduMate Classic in the ablution area.
Woolworths Double Bay has been dubbed "the fanciest supermarket in Australia" for its product offerings including a fresh pasta bar, in-house social enterprise bakery, a 'bag your own' section for nuts and specialty rice and a pick and mix dessert station offering chocolates for up to $98 per kilo.
Tik Tok users have been posting video tours of the Sydney superstore and several of them have gone viral.
Now it is clearly considering the spiritual wellbeing of its culturally diverse customers and staff as well as their purchasing needs.
