WuduMate Modulars in the ablution area of the new Rawdah Mosque, Bradford
The Greensville Trust was established in 2005, and is a UK-based educational charity that aims to nurture holistic faith-based communities which have at their heart educational institutions that impart a broad and relevant Islamic curriculum.
This vision is underpinned by the principles of sincerity, excellence and education rooted in practice, binding formal learning to the imperative for action, and seeing education as a transformative process, not merely informative.
The trust has acquired, and renovated a building at Mustafa Mount, Bradford, which has now become the Rawdah Mosque.
The large site will provide many facilities including

WuduMate Modular units in an office in Poland
This customer has created two ablution rooms, one with two WuduMate Modular units, and the other one with three Modulars.
They chose to install them as three separate units, rather than joining them together in a bank, and to install them without the back panel, with the wall mounted taps coming directly out of the tiled wall surface.

Senai International Airport – Kuala Lumpur – Case Study
Discover how Senai Airport transformed its facilities with WuduMate
Senai International Airport is located 300 km South East of Kuala Lumpur, in one of Malaysia’s strategic development zones.
Local company Olie Scape Holdings were contracted for a number of male and female prayer rooms for use by staff and travellers.
The WuduMate was quickly identified on the Internet, developed in the UK specifically for Wudu, and fast being established as the next generation of appliance for wudu across the Globe. They chose the WuduMate Classic for seated wudu, and a single WuduMate Modular in each ablution area for standing wudu.
The WuduMates were easily sourced from the UK, and were found to be easy to install, and their hard-wearing acrylic surface proving easy to keep clean.

WuduMate Modular in office area of a UK Mosque
The WuduMate Modular unit is often used for large installations requiring many units in a row, often in mosques or in workplaces with large numbers of Muslim staff. However here, a single unit has been installed within the office area of a UK mosque. The management has decided to create a small separate ablution area for the staff to use, close to where they are working.
They chose a single WuduMate Modular, and have built it into a small cubicle to reduce the risk of splashes on the floor. This has made really good use of a small space.

Existing Wudu Khana in UK Mosque
This elegant wudu area in a sub floor basement in West London shows how 19 WuduMate Modular units can be installed in a relatively small area. The inclusion of a simple false window helps reduce any impression of being underground, and the colourful tiling with ceiling based downlighters gives a modern feeling to the installation.
An odd-shaped existing wudu khana proved an interesting project when a mosque committee began considering the WuduMate-Modular. The product’s versatility really shone through as, despite the small and narrow space, 19 wudu seats could be incorporated.

WuduMate Modular units in UK University
This university in the UK completed an upgrade of their ablution area using WuduMate Modular units to create separate ablution areas for men and women.
They also chose to install a Turkish toilet close to this area, which is a toilet with an integral bidet function. People from many cultures prefer to use a bidet after using the toilet, and this new appliance will allow them to perform their preferred hygiene rituals with comfort and dignity.

Royal Nawaab in Manchester
Royal Nawaab’s emphasis is on preparing fresh food with the finest ingredients, the team of skilled chefs go above and beyond to ensure that the hundreds of diners every night experience the finest halal cuisine.
Drawing on influences from India and Pakistan, the authentic cuisine is a huge favourite of the large and inscrutable local Asian community, who show their support by using the facility for large corporate events, parties and weddings.
Since opening in 2002 Royal Nawaab has been constantly looking to improve its facilities, and in 2015 a project was undertaken to refurbish the bathrooms leading to the banquet rooms. It was decided as part of this project to provide an alternative to the washbasins being used for wudu, since these did not match the up-market image being portrayed by the rest of the restaurant.
WuduMate was soon identified as the leading supplier of appliances for wudu, and three WuduMate Modular units were installed upstairs next to the prayer room and the banquet rooms, two in the men’s area and one in the ladies area. The contractor used by Royal Nawaab stated “I can tell you that the WuduMates were a lot cheaper to install than the tiled units we put in place downstairs” and I would recommend them”.
Royal Nawaab is delighted with the response received following installation of the WuduMates, site manager Harri stated “if we had known about the WuduMate earlier, we would definitely have installed them downstairs as well!” He continued, “the installation has proved to be quick and inexpensive, and everyone who has experienced the facility has given positive feedback”.

This high-end wudu area design incorporated large wall tiles, shadow gaps and WuduMate Modulars to create a stunning proposal for a large, purpose-built mosque.
Since this was a new build project with the chance to design the construction before works began, it was decided to set the WuduMate Modulars into the concrete slab of the floor and tile to the back of the unit.

Performing Wudu using the WuduMate Modular
The video shows how easy and comfortable it is to perform wudu using the WuduMate Modular. The tap is at the correct angle to minimise splashing and there is a comfortable footrest to assist foot washing. Taps can be configured with a wrist blade or auto sensor to assist those with limited mobility.
This video shows the Wudumate Modular with a soap shelf, which can also be used to hold watches and other valuables. The Modular can also be configured with an inbuilt soap dispenser behind the back panel
The WuduMate Modular can also be configured without a seat, to allow wheelchair access or for those who prefer to perform wudu whilst standing. In a bank of WuduMate Modular units, you can specify how many of them have seats.
The seat tops and seat pole base covers come in a variety of colours and finishes to compliment your decor, and the units can be finished with co-ordinating vinyl decals.

Heathrow Airport installs WuduMate Modular units
WuduMate Modular units have been installed in a refurbishment of one of the many multi-faith room ablution areas in a terminal at Heathrow Airport and have been very well received; the ablution area was enhanced with plants and foot driers.
WuduMate seats used in refurbishment of Bury Islamic Centre
WuduMate is best known for its range of wudu footbaths, with a model for every type of room. However we also supply accessories and optional extras to brighten up wudu rooms and bathrooms. Here’s an example.
Bury Islamic Centre recently completed a partial refurbishment of their Wudu Area. They have a traditional trough set up for wudu and wanted to keep that.

This 5 Wudu position women’s ablution area is equipped with attractive downlights and mirrors. These WuduMate Modulars have been set into the floor, so the back edge of the WuduMate is level with the tiles.
When configured in this way, one seat pole and seat could have been omitted, which would have enabled wheelchair access directly onto the WuduMate Modular unit.
Sutton Coldfield Muslim Association installs WuduMate Modulars
Sutton Coldfield Muslim Association in the UK, upgraded their ablution areas to include a total of 17 WuduMate Modulars.
One Modular Disabled unit was installed for wheelchair access, with the disabled bar neatly inset into the wall, so as not to interfere with the wheelchair’s access.
The individual drainage outlets improve hygiene and help reduce unpleasant odours and the installation was welcomed by those using it.

WuduMate Modulars in the USA with fillers between units
Having plenty of space in the Wudu area, this Modular customer in the USA has made elegant use of a cement ‘filler’ to add space between the WuduMates in their men’s ablution area.
This is not a solution that we would normally recommend, as the WuduMate Modular foot baths are designed to fit snugly together to form a single unit, which is then easy to clean and more hygienic.
However this customer chose this innovative solution in case the users needed additional space.
Local Community mosque installs WuduMate Modular units
The home of an Islamic association formed in the 1970s, this disused church was bought and converted internally to serve the thriving local Muslim community.
Owing to space constraints, theWuduMate Modular was an obvious choice for the committee – allowing the odd-shaped room to accommodate a large number of wudu positions without following a standard straight or corner configuration.

Graced with a complete renovation in 2013, the mosque, which was once two semi-detached properties, features a nine-position wudu khana on the ground floor for the men, whilst upstairs the dedicated prayer room for women is served by two WuduMate Modular units.

WuduMate Modulars installed outside in Madrid
Five WuduMate Modulars were installed outside on a patio in Madrid for a ten day Islamic retreat to host many international guests.
The retreat was hugely successful and the WuduMate foot baths served well as an ablution facility, removing the bottleneck that usually occurs when 200+ attendees want to perform wudu between only two bathrooms.
