French Mosque chooses WuduMate Compact for Ablution area

The Mosque de Sallaumines has recently completed a refurbishment of their ablution area , replacing a traditions trough based system with WuduMate Compact units.

They sent us these lovely before and after pictures, showing the total transformation and modernisation of the wudu area.

The Ablution area can be shielded with a curtain so that people can perform their ablutions in private if others are using the room.

WuduMate Compact in Office Building in Australia

For this facility in Australia, the customer chose the WuduMate Compact. The signs above it make it clear what the purpose is, in case any non-Muslims using the multi-faith area are in doubt, and there is also a convenient shoe rack.

They have chosen the pre-cut non-slip matting to go around the base of the Compact, and the optional handles on the stool to assist sitting and rising for anyone with limited mobility. It is also possible to remove the stool, for example to use the WuduMate from a wheelchair…

WuduMate Compact in a Stylish Home Bathroom Makeover

This customer chose the WuduMate Compact, for their home wudu khana, which fits and blends in beautifully with the bathroom. They chose the optional seat handles for the seat to assist sitting and standing, and the black seat top blends in beautifully with the sink panel.

This family will now be able to perform their ablutions in comfort and dignity.

WuduMate Compact Installed in Hospital

A hospital has installed a WuduMate Compact which is ideal for this area as the stool can be neatly stowed away over the unit to optimise space around it.

WuduMate Compact in an office in the United States

This customer has adapted a large bathroom area, in order to make a place for Muslim employees to perform wudu. They have chosen the WuduMate Compact with a pillar tap, and non-slip matting around the unit. There are paper towels above the unit, so the feet can be dried while still seated, avoiding splashing on the floor.

On the sink you can see the sign which will be attached to the door, to indicate the wudu area for visitors to the building.

We are happy to report that Moog Aircraft chose WuduMate to furnish their reflection room. The WuduMate Compact with sink and dryer looks perfect in this peaceful and serene area.

One very happy employee, Bilal, said;
Before starting, I had my doubts about finding a quiet space to perform my daily prayers (salat). However, after mentioning that I was a Muslim to one of my co-workers, the first thing they showed me was the Reflection Room at Moog’s new site! It was especially great seeing a designated space to do wudhu (ablution) which is a form of washing Muslims need to do before they pray.
Muslims pray 5 times a day with anything between 1- 4 prayers falling inside office hours, depending on the time of year. I’ve had my fair share of praying in dodgy office store rooms so it’s great seeing something like this.
It’s a leap towards having a more inclusive environment within the workplace. Thank you Moog and all those who facilitated and “Green-lit” this for your rich culture and for being so supportive!

WuduMate Compact installed in National Grid offices in Warwick

The National Grid offices in Warwick recently installed a WuduMate Compact, to turn one of their toilet areas into an ablution room for Muslims. They added the optional seat handles onto the Compact model and also installed a wall bar to assist those with limited mobility.

National Grid House is often considered to be an example of good design and planning in office fit out. In 2015, the building won a prestigious award for Best Fit Out of a Workplace in the Midlands and East Anglia at the annual British Council for Offices (BCO) regional property sector awards.

It’s clear that National Grid continues to provide for the needs of its employees and continues to stand out and lead the way when it comes to meeting the needs of its employees.

Primary School installs WuduMate Compact

This faith school was previously registered as an independent Muslim school but joined the Voluntary Aided (VA) sector in 2008. With over 150 pupils, the school serves the local Muslim community.

As a mixed-sex school, they installed WuduMate Compact washing bowls in groupings of one, two and three throughout the building in the existing boys’ and girls’ bathroom areas for ablution.

Primary School installs new wudu facilities

This primary school has introduced new wudu facilities for its pupils by installing the WuduMate Compact in the school changing rooms. With a smaller footprint than either the WuduMate Classic or WuduMate Modular, staff and pupils alike have been impressed by the functionality of the new washing facilities.

Wudu Ablution Area for Women

We were contacted by a mosque to design a wudu ablution area for women, with a small number of wudu sinks. The customer chose the WuduMate Compact, because the units are perfect for women and children to use. With a screen covering the entrance door, the women can observe the practice of modesty, and can remove their hijab and perform a proper wudu in comfort.
