Capita is the UK’s largest outsourcing company doing everything from investment fund management to government policy creation to facilities management. Just one of their 300 offices is in Rochester Row, London.

One of their recent acquisitions was that of a training company which takes in foreign trainees and is based at Rochester Row. Many of these trainees are from Muslim countries and it was decided that prayer facilities should be provided. The decision to do this was not taken lightly since space in that part of London is at a premium, with rental on these relatively small offices being in the region of £1.5million. Information on the WuduMate Commercial (predecessor of the WuduMate Classic) was obtained from their Birmingham offices and Steve Malarky, the FM for the Rochester Row offices, motivated for their installation.
